It’s Earth Day! we could’ve easily just cleaned up the community. But for us, being intentional meant giving our youth program the “why” behind the work.We had them walk through our community & really observe what surrounds us, the blight, abandoned houses, cracked sidewalks, overflowing trash cans, and neglected spaces. They teamed up to identify issues and present their findings to one another. After this experience, they began to see things differently and truly appreciate the mission. It became bigger than just cleaning up, it became about awareness, pride, responsibility, and realizing they have the power to help create change.

March is International Women’s Month, and every year we celebrate by honoring women from all walks of life with a special self-care day. We’ve had the privilege of supporting women facing cancer, postpartum depression, hair loss, or simply navigating life paycheck to paycheck. It’s always a joy to uplift and encourage mental wellness.
